Covid-19 Vaccine Program Assistant
Employment Type: Full-Time |
Summary: Provide program and administrative support to CDR's efforts to ensure vaccination of our consumers, staff, volunteers and community. |
Duties: Ensure registration of consumers/community members interested in receiving COVID-19 vaccination and support other activities as needed at satellite vaccination sites. Engage consumers/community members, informing them about how the satellite vaccination site functions, and ensure the availability of a comfortable waiting area for them Assist to ensure appropriate flow of people to avoid congestion of waiting areas and/or post-vaccine observation areas Support registration by taking temperatures, providing educational materials, and scheduling appointments Support individuals to complete screening questions and consent forms Perform data entry of demographic and vaccine administration information Bring any serious medical issues to the attention of the medical coordinator Follow up with individuals who have missed their appointments Participate in training as needed Participate in daily team meetings Ensure, maintain and promote confidentiality of all protected health information |
Skills: Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus. |
Qualifications: Associates degree or relevant hands-on experience. |
