CDRNYS

Susan Stahl, CDR Transition Specialist, has returned to Rochester after traveling to Japan from December 10 to December 21. Her leadership with nursing home transition and diversion contributed toward the success among the group of Open Doors Transition Center Independent Living advocates.

During her last several days in Japan, she had the opportunity to do some sightseeing in Tokyo. More importantly, she used her time in Tokyo to connect with individuals from the Japan National Assembly of Disabled Peoples’ International (DPI-Japan), and at the Japan Independent Living headquarters.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank her for representing CDR on this trip, and for furthering our dialogue on Independent Living with our colleagues in Japan. Also, we are glad to have her back home!
