We need your help! Americans with Disabilities are regularly forced into nursing homes or other institutional settings against their will simply because they need help with some tasks. Americans with Disabilities can and should receive services and supports in their OWN HOMES and not institutional settings. The Disability Integration Act (HR. 555) would help Americans with Disabilities to live in freedom by requiring insurance companies to cover services and supports in a person’s home rather than a nursing home if the person chooses to stay at home.

This bill has a lot of support! Over 800 organizations across our Nation support the Disability Integration Act (http://www.disabilityintegrationact.org/dia-supporter-list/). The bill also has 155 cosponsors in the House but House Leadership is refusing to move the bill forward!
