July 26, 2010 – Commemorate the anniversary of the ADA with the Center for Disability Rights and Regional Center for Independent Living as we host a public forum on disability issues. Staff from the offices of our Federal Representatives and Senators will participate. This is a great opportunity for all people with disabilities to help form the advocacy agenda of CDR/RCIL and our federal representatives. 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Central Library, Kate Gleason Auditorium, 115 South Avenue, Rochester.

July 29, 2010 – In an effort to better serve people with disabilities, who are also lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgendered, the Center for Disability Rights and the Gay Alliance of the Genesee Valley will host a film screening. The hilarious film “The Adventures of Greg Walloch” addressed issues of disability and sexuality – intended for mature audiences. The film will be shown at 6:00 PM at the Strathallan Hotel, 550 East Avenue, Rochester.

All events are wheelchair accessible and sign language interpreters will be provided.
