Protestors who held demonstrations last week when Governor Paterson visited Rochester are gearing up for their trip to Albany Monday morning.

The Center for Disability Rights opposes Governor Paterson’s plan to cut vital services. His proposal calls for a cap on personal aide care, limiting service to 12 hours per day.

Some speaking out against the plan have said they will be forced to live in nursing homes if funding for such services is cut.

The group hopes to be on the road Monday morning with a bus load of people. The protestors have a meeting scheduled with Governor Paterson at 3:15 Monday afternoon.

They plan to return home Monday night.
