Disability Rights Advocates Head to Albany to Protest

Reported by: Lauren MacDonough, Channel 8
Disability rights activists from Rochester will head to Albany Tuesday to protest proposed cuts.

The proposed budget cuts services for people with the most significant disabilities, according to the Center for Disability Rights. The group hopes to reinstate the cuts and advance proposals to save the state more than $1 billion in 5 years in Medicaid costs.
