A great discussion on accessible transportation was held on #CDRchat Twitter chat last week. Advocating insights and tips were shared by our #CDRchat co-hosts: Ericka Jones, Gregg Beratan, and Aaron Baier. Individuals from different cities joined the discussion to exchange their personal stories about using various transportation methods, such as planes, taxis, and subway. The #CDRchat participants also expressed their opinions of how access can be improved and acknowledged for all people with disabilities. In addition to the discussion on access barriers, the community talked about issues of using transportation in various weather conditions, such as a hot day in LA or a winter day in Rochester.
