Last week, we held a Twitter Chat on Deaf Insight & Advocacy in honor of the upcoming Rochester Deaf Awareness Week.  Personal experiences, great advocacy examples, and insights were shared by Jonathan Dollhopf, our Deaf Systems Advocate, Ray Kenney, longtime advocate and also owner of Sign Language Connection, and Sean Gerlis, President of Empire State Association of the Deaf!

The community learned more about Deaf advocacy, deaf-related policies, and what we can do to have our stories be heard. Thank you to all who participated and joined in on our #CDRchat.
