Last week’s Twitter Chat on the Disability Integration Act (DIA), #DIAToday, was incredibly informative! DIA ensures that individuals with disabilities, who are eligible to receive institutional care, must be given the opportunity to receive long-term services and supports covered by their insurance at home and in the community. DIA would give the disability community an absolute right to live independently, and where we choose to be!
