It is almost over. Election Day is upon us. Please make sure you get out to vote tomorrow (Tuesday, November 6th).

If you are not sure where you are supposed to vote or if you are not sure of the times, Google has a really nice online tool to help with that. Just go to https://www.google.com/elections/ed/us/vote. It’s good for anyone in the United States.

If you have problems on Election Day – your polling place in not accessible, the voting machine does not work or the ballot is not in an accessible format – there are people who will be waiting to help.

Call them at 1-866-OUR-VOTE (1-866-687-8683).

Then, when you are done voting, The National Council on Disability (NCD), in collaboration with the National Disability Rights Network (NDRN) and EIN SOF Communications, Inc., want to hear about people with disabilities’ voting experiences during the election. There is a brief, open-ended questionnaire, asking about voter’s experiences, including any physical, attitudinal, or other barriers you may have faced when attempting to exercise your constitutional right to vote. They will issue a report based on the findings of the questionnaire in early 2013 which we will gladly share with everyone. You can take that survey after you vote at http://www.surveygizmo.com/s3/1053447/Voting .

Thank you for getting out there to vote, making sure your voice is heard and that together we can continue to fight for our rights.
