To celebrate the 26th anniversary of the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), our Twitter chat was held yesterday to discuss the topic of the ADA! Our co-hosts, Stephanie Woodward, CDR’s Director of Advocacy, Vilissa Thompson, Founder & CEO of Ramp Your Voice!, and Diane Coleman, President/CEO of Not Dead Yet, came together for our #CDRchat.

Experiences and opinions were shared about what life was like for people with disabilities before the ADA was signed into law and how it is progressing today. The community also learned more about advocacy and what we can do to have our stories be heard. Thank you to all who participated and joined in on our #CDRchat.
