The Executive Budget is an opportunity to take the pulse of the Governor’s policies regarding people with disabilities.   Each year, CDR closely reviews and responds to the Executive’s proposed budget, focusing on proposals that impact the disability community and, more specifically, how the budget affects the ability of people with disabilities to live independently in the community.   CDR is particularly cognizant of changes that may impact the State’s design and implementation of the Community First Choice Option.
