IT Systems Administrator



Employment Type: Full-Time
Summary:
Under minimal supervision, ensures the IT function of Center for Disability Rights (CDR) is working correctly. Determines problems within the CDR computer system and resolves issues as they occur as well as prevention of problems before they arise.Supervisory duties are not a major responsibility of the position.
Duties:
Systems Administrator Duties:

Troubleshoots network and phone problems.

Maintenance of multiple Windows and Linux servers on location OR branch locations.

Database maintenance and coding.

Systems/Data backups and restores.

Monitor network security.

End User help desk support.

Communication as needed to various It / phone vendors.

Misc. general IT duties.
Skills:
Good verbal and listening skills needed to determine the root cause of the problem and communicate with employee the issue and preventative measures.

Must have strong Network troubleshooting skills including VOIP phone systems.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science.

Two (2) years related work experience.

Knowledge of server 2016 and above.

Knowledge of Office 365.

Extensive knowledge program applications including but not limited to Linux, Apache Web Server, and MySQL.

Knowledge of server side scripting in PHP is a must.

Professionalism is mandatory as confidential employee and consumer information may be viewed while resolving the issue.
