SUMMARY:Accessible Trunk-or-Treat
DESCRIPTION:Registration is Closed!\nOn Thursday October 28th from 5:00 to 7:00pm\, the Center for Disability Rights (CDR) will host an “Accessible Trunk-or Treat” Halloween event at Frontier Field. In addition\, from 4pm-5pm\, early admission is available to children in a low sensory environment. Our event is scent-free and non-smoking\, and adult supervision is required; costumes are strongly encouraged! Free for children up to 10 years old – and for children with disabilities older than 10 years of age. \nPlease park across the street (Morrie Silver Way) from Frontier Field (Red Wings fans will know this as Lot D). You may enter from Morrie Silver Way\, Brown Street\, or Oak Street. The closest RTS lines are 20/22\, on State Street. This site is also accessible by RTS Access (paratransit). \nPlease click here if you have any questions regarding the event.  \nIn this environment\, children with and without disabilities can come together and enjoy the best part of Halloween. True to CDR’s mission to work for the independence\, integration\, and civil rights of people with all types of disabilities\, children with disabilities will continue to have an alternative to going door-to-door to trick-or-treat. For many children\, this is a challenge\, if it is an option at all.  \nThis webpage will be updated as additional details become available. Please check this webpage should circumstances such as weather conditions or the coronavirus pandemic were to affect the event.  \nAs conditions allow\, we will maintain past traditions of the previous Accessible Trick-or-Treat events. However\, due to the coronavirus pandemic\, maximizing safety will take precedence. By adapting our Halloween tradition to a more socially distanced setting\, we look forward to safely bringing back the joy to kids in the Greater Rochester area.  \nThank you\, Sponsors!\n \n  \n  \n  \n \n  \n \n  \n  \n  \n \n
