New Member Data Set Up Specialist



Employment Type: Full-Time
Summary:
Entering new member information into the accounting software and sending the necessary paperwork to Departments of social Services/ HRA offices, consumers/ POA's and Legal representatives.Follow up with DSS/ I-IRA and Legal representatives or MLTC's as required to ensure consumers Medicaid is active.
Duties:
New Member Data Set up Duties:

1.Charge set up fee paperwork to Accounts Receivable specialist.

2.Break out set up fee paperwork to Accounts Payable staff.

3.Responds to member's routine inquiries or refers to appropriate staff.

4.Prepare folders and paperwork for Filing and Process the new application into the tracking database.

5.Follow up on missing information and paperwork.

6.Input data into database and do updates are required.

7.Respond timely to tickets, voice mails, and emails.

8.Assist with other pooled Trust duties as assigned.
Skills:
1.Ability to meet with a diverse population and present the information in an accessible format.

2.Ability to prioritize duties and process in a timely fashion.

3.Ability to manage relations with Medicaid departments in NY State.
Qualifications:
1.High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED).

2.Knowledge of Medicaid systems.

3.Knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED
Minimum Experience: 1-2 years
